I can't stand Tiger but those statements by Jenkins are just pitiful. The best in the world show up for the majors and he won, period.

So Bob May shoots 66-66 on the weekend of a major and it is not impressive because his name is Bob May??

there's some validity to what he said, but referring to them as "nobody" is an insult ...

8 wins in with no majors mixed in? That's a huge stretch calling it HOF worthy.

I like this analogy from DJ:

quote:

Rickie doesn’t have the physique or the size and strength of Rory and Jordan, but he’s a fierce competitor, a fighter who has to get everything out of himself, somewhat on the order of a Gary Player.

Michael Jordan had no rivals either, but he's still the GOAT...

Well that's just incorrect. He has FIFTEEN PGA tour wins from the 08 U.S. Open until now. Only 62 golfers in the history of golf have 15 wins for their entire career.

You need 15 wins on qualified tours to be eligible for the hall of fame. So he has that with just the PGA tour. Not even counting several Eurpoean tour wins which also count toward a hall of fame resume'.

From the 08 US Open until now, Tiger has more PGA tour wins than the entire career of:
Rory McIlroy
Adam Scott
Zach Johnson
Steve Stricker
David Toms
Dustin Johnson
Sergio Garcia
Matt Kuchar
Justin Rose
Bubba Watson

Just to name a few...
