D. Wade taking some 'heat' for taking shots pre-game during Canadian Anthem

Straight from the NBA rule book...
H. PLAYER/TEAM CONDUCT AND DRESS
(2) Players, coaches and trainers are to stand and line up in a dignified posture along the sidelines or on the foul line during the playing of the National Anthem.

Yeah pretty disrespectful. I would be embarrassed. It will blow over though. D. Wade seems like a decent guy.

Are we sure it's actually playing then? Almost no one in that photo seems to be standing still for an anthem.

I wasn't around for that but I can imagine it didn't go over well.
To play devils advocate, after watching the video, it doesn't even look the raptors players are paying much attention to it. Doesn't excuse Wade for taking warm up shots but I can see how he might have not even noticed what was going on.

I mean for a sport trying to penetrate world wide, I'm not sure how wise it would be for the NBA to publicly clarify that they really only care about enforcing rules of respect for America, frick the rest of you guys!
PR wise it might not be the best move.
