Stunned that the real racists to Schilling are a black guy and a Jew.

In fairness she might have gotten D'angelo Russell black balled by NBA players - no one wants a teammate that will rat them out.

Never heard SAS say anything like this on RGIII.

Why is it so hard for Schilling and his supporters to understand that ESPN gives not one frick about what you say so long as you bring in the ratings?
If Schilling was popular enough to anchor his own morning show he would still be at ESPN. Instead, he wasn't popular or even well respected as a baseball analyst. The dude just wasn't worth the headlines he creates. Period. End of story.
Honestly, this is no different than when he tried to blame everyone but himself for losing all that money when his video game company went bankrupt. Never mind that his game would have needed to be one of the biggest sellers ever to turn a profit. It wasn't that he needed to do Halo numbers to succeed w/his business model. No, no, no. It was the mean old government screwing him. Schilling has become little more than a cry baby who can't own up to his own failings.

ESPN has displayed a pretty big double standard. It's enjoyable to watch them slowly collapse.

Outside of his religious beliefs, I could see Tim being liberal

He wasn't fired for leaning right. Nothing he ever got in trouble for has anything to do with political rightism. He was fired for being a bigoted a-hole. He was fired by bigoted assholes, but for being a bigoted a-hole nonetheless.
And yeah, big time victim complex. He's always had it.

I don't think you and I are having the same conversation. Please go talk to someone else.

The big liberal conglomerates thought their news outlets were losing too much ground to conservative alternatives and losing all those viewers who don't agree with them...they were talking to themselves, less influence, no one to convert.
They needed a new medium to reach all viewers, cons, libs, men, women, impressionable youth...all watch sports.
Sports is the new vessell to sell the left religion...
NBC
CBS
ABC
All starting injecting political riffs, before, during or after sporting events...as part of some laughably named "national discussion" which was code for no discussion.
ESPN just does it the most because they can to fill programing.
I don't care which side you lean, I watch sports to get away from politics and enjoy it for sport.
It's annoying you can't escape it now.
