I used to love the Cards as a 3rd team but Missouri in the SEC has made me hate them

Rizzo has shown the propensity to throw down. If he gets hit there will be fireworks

They can just hit Castro if they care that much

The only thing I don't like about the home run trot is that it means Rizzo will get plunked today.

Lets just hope he doesn't swing at it first...

They're not going to throw at anyone. This is only an issue for people that either hate castro...or fun.

If Miller was 2-7 with a 5.40 era, it would be quiet.

But the more i watch Heyward the more it looks like he's damaged goods. The bean ball ruined him.

And Miller has AllStar numbers, so expect it to get louder.

These people live and die by the Cardinals,so of course you will have loons and ridiculous reactions. I laugh at them and call them out on the local papers Cards talk forums. All fan bases have them, it's that the chest pounding over,"Best Fans in Baseball" shite makes them huge targets.

That twitter account(bestfansinbaseball) is run by a butt hurt Reds fan.

I'm with the OP. It's taken them 107 years and counting to win a World Series. What's wrong with taking 30 seconds to run out a home run?

So castro took it on the chin from cubs fans and rivals fans alike for his little trot.

Same outrage over Junior Lake?

Nah, like the other manager said he only hits one a year so of course he'll get excited.

Nothing bothered me about it until he susshed the marlins bench.

Cubs throw out a TOR guy, get waxed, and he's shushing their bench after hitting a meaningless home run.

Seems like pretty low hanging fruit for a manager to pluck. That just reads like a bitter 12 year old's twitter comment.

Again, Junior Lake has absolutely no reason to shush the Marlins bench. He hit his HR, he looked at it and did a little bat flip...all that seems fairly normal and of course expected. But why couldn't he just keep running the bases?

Look, I don't think Junior went about it the right way and I do think Starlin did go about it the right way. Starlin trolled them by trotting slowly...Junior was just being a douche.

ETA: I bet the Marlins bench reaction when Junior stared down his HR was like "You're a fringe MLB player, who do you think you are?" And they're right.

I agree. I'm all for staring down a homerun, or a bat flip. But you've gotta expect the other bench to chirp at you if you do. Don't escalate the situation...especially when, like you said, are a fringe MLB guy and getting you dick beat into the dirt.

Speaking of that, how about scoring some fricking runs? And how about Jon Lester pick it up a bit?

Apparently even numbered months don't seem to agree with him as a cub.

It's getting old. I'm going to try to not go all randy quade from Major League 2 this weekend while at nationals ballpark.
