Emphasis on "may"

Quite difficult considering the lack of quality big men in today's league. But screw it, I made a squad anyway:

CP3
Lebron
Kawhi
AD
Cousins

KD
Russ
James Harden
Draymond Green
Marc Gasol
Melo
Steph

Honestly it shouldn't be hard. Original dream team might have a better starting lineup with traditional 1-5 positions, but I think a current team would be much deeper, and better overall, despite not having a true 7 foot center to contend with 92 team.

MSB will disagree. LBJ and a D-league roster and you should be good.

Paul
Thompson
Durant
LeBron
Davis

There's defense, shot blocking, elite passing, and scoring from inside and outside.

11 of the 12 men that were on that team are in the HOF.

But 2 of the "best" players were past their prime, one of them well past and could barely walk.

Fwiw pippen and Jordan are my 2 all time favorite players but I think a current team would have too much depth and athleticism.

And you have Steph, Westbrook, Harden, Cousins, Kawhi coming off the bench.

Dream Team had a couple of spectators. Don't think they could handle this team's depth.

2012 Olympic team could beat the dream team .

The collective of the best players in the league today, I feel confident they would beat the dream team also.

Yeah, Bird was pretty much done. But if you're talking about Magic, he still had a lot left in the tank. He only retired because of AIDS.

Today's wing players are far more athletic, but the dream teams front court would be difficult to deal with.

Just play small ball against them and run them to death plus current players are much better 3 point shooters.

Paul
Harden
Lebron
Durant
Davis

Westbrook
Kawhi
Cousins
Curry
Thompson
Giannis
Towns

Even though I'm old school I don't think the Dream Team is unbeatable .

Which rules ?

The James Harden barrel down the lane & flop if anyone gets near & actually gets to the line?

The new NBA rules which are now even softer than FIBA where international players are pointing out how "soft" the NBA is?

This would be the only shot. Even then, trying to escape Jordan and Pippen on the wing is easier said than done.

25+ years of full blown AIDS. He should get a gold medal for that alone.

That would benefit the current players now moreso than the 92 team, considering the fact that there are far more swingmen.
