quote:

James: I have to say that ... the thought of me filing something in the Supreme Court on behalf of players, I had pause. I’ll run through a wall with you guys but if I were a current player in that locker room and my livelihood depended on me being quiet or losing it because of my belief system, I worry, I wonder. So, that’s Satan working on us.

Craig did develop a close, personal relationship with Satan in college after all.

were gays ever not accepted in sports? When were there ever rules that homosexuals couldn't participate in sports?

let's say you prescribe to the "good ole boys" theory that gays were being excluded, ok. Then do you really think there is acceptance of gays in sports? People think what they think.

I just don't understand why some religious people feel the need to draw the line there. If you have a problem with immorality in sports, start with sex outside of marriage. Christians who are okay with sex before marriage and not okay with being gay are the biggest hypocrites out there. Complete bigots. How convenient to ignore your religion's teachings when they actually affect you.

So, basically, if he can't spout out his discriminatory beliefs based on an Iron Age philosophy in the locker room and still be employed, Satan must be "working" on us?

I wonder if he'd be as provoked to flip shite if someone pulled out a shrimp platter in the locker room.

I think society needs to start differentiating between "acceptance" and "equality of process".
