Why is it a joke if it goes to Henry?
Henry
295 att 1797 yards 6.1 y/c

22 TDs
12 games
Fournette
271 att 1751 yards 6.5 y/c
18 rec 209 yards 11.6 y/r
18 TDs
11 games
Cook
211 att 1658 yards 7.9 y/c
22 rec 218 yards 9.9 y/r
19 TDs

Clearly Cook and Fournette have better stats. Henry would be winning because of his team. It is suppose to be a most outstanding player and there are clearly two better RBs in power 5 conferences than Henry.

Interesting... i see Fournette has played less games. How about just do stats vs common SEC opponents!!
Posted on 11/29/15 at 1:19 am to Colonel Flagg
Fournette
745 SEC west yards
149 per game
123 attempts
6.05 ypc
8tds
Henry
933 SEC west yards
186.6 a game
150 attempts
6.22 ypc
7tds
There you go buddy.

You can use this argument for Fournette, but not Cook. He missed his game because of injury, when he had FAR less carries than Henry or Fournette. Who neither missed any major time against conference opponents for injury.
You give Fournette and Henry an ACC schedule, and they both have over 2,000 yards right now. Without a doubt.

All I saw was a bunch of pointless stats chalked up from a butthurt FSU fan.

Didn't the ACC go 3-1 against the SEC yesterday?

Fournette's stats were padded against bad run defenses. Henry's were against good teams. There is no comparison.

Fournette does not clearly have better stats than Henry.
Posted on 11/29/15 at 6:44 am to Colonel Flagg
Fournette racked up a rather large portion of his numbers against bad defenses. I'd have no issue with it going to Cook but Henry has clearly been better than Fournette.

It isn't supposed to be all about stats.
Alabama has twice needed Henry to ice the game, against LSU he did it, and against Auburn he did it. He had 45 carries already when he ripped off carry #46 for a 25 yard game sealer. Plus his OL is horrible and his offense doesn't stretch the field vertically very well. He has shined in big games. Alabama would not be in the SEC Championship Game this year without Derrick Henry.

Henry had the luxury of playing for Bama and not against them.

Not having to play against Bama's defense is a luxury, but playing behind this 2015 Bama OL isn't

Just stop pretending and admit that Henry will win because
1. It is Alabama
2. Fournette is getting penalized for the inept coaching of Les Miles and the OL performance against Alabama
3. Cook won't win because he is in the ACC and his team is not going to the playoffs

Fournette played against the Bama defense, Henry did not. He has more total yards than both in 1 less game.
The Heisman is just as much about how good the team is. Henry deserves it. Who the best player is can be another discussion down the road.

Fournette also put up 20+ carries vs three bottom of the barrel rush defenses (EMU, Syracuse and USCe are all bottom 50 in Def S&P+) and was outperformed by Henry in 3 of 5 common matchups. Henry's carries were limited against the cupcake opponents (40 combined amongst ULM, MTSU and CSU).

God forbid Dalvin Cook go up against the stingy run defense of MSU, A&M, Arkansas, LSU, Auburn, and Ole Miss.

Guess it depends on how much you value the YPC metric
7.9 is just ridiculous
Cook in that regard has a large edge over both Fournette and Henry
