Mayweather proposes 50 Million for McGregor for a New Years Eve fight. Is it possible? What sort of compromise rules could they come up with to make it competitive?

50 million? I don't think Floyd would walk to his front door for 50 million dollars.

Sounds like he offered McGregor 50 million, the overall take would be much larger.

I'm sure they could make a fight, and there are enough stupid people who would want to see it. It would make a ton of money, but it would be incredibly pointless, though. If they box Floyd is going to rip him apart. If they're in an Octagon, I don't think Floyd is going to like getting kicked.

50 million would be more than the UFC pays him the rest of his career.

With endorsements and the publicity if he keeps winning in the UFC? He would likely have the opportunity to make more.

Have to bank on getting back to a good place with the UFC though, and continuing dominating, as a opposed to a one time payout and trying to build on that through other avenues.

The point is he's under contract, they wouldn't let Conor participate in the fight.

None.

McGregor would get demolished in boxing.

Mayweather would get demolished in everything else.

say what you want but watching Mcgregor get worked over is easily worth the $5 I'd pay to watch with friends

His contract extends to boxing? Seems like they would have a hard time enforcing that keeping him from participating in a different sport to maintain his livelihood.

Additionally their recent interactions and being pulled from the card would be even more ammo for him to play with in getting out of it.

Don't think that would be an issue at all

I really think if McGregor had world class boxing training for 2 or 3 yrs straight he could actually be a competitive boxer. Striking is clearly his strength in UFC… it damn sure ain't the ground game. He has big time power for 150lb.

Floyd and compromises? Does not compute

IMO the only realistic fair fight would be like a kick boxing match. Boxing gloves but you can also kick, but no ground game

Not gonna happen and I'm not interested in an easy blowout win for Floyd, anyway.

floyd would whip him and I dont think he has the conditioning for a full boxing match. he was worn out 6 minutes into his last fight which was essentially a boxing match till he got choked.

regardless, he could always get lucky because he is powerful... but one thing is for sure they would make a ton of money off of this.

For 50 million he could quit the UFC. Then fight in another organization.
