Why would anyone argue it's not OPI?

Best calls would have been a no-call or off-setting o

What was called not only negated the TD, it moved ND back to the 18 yd line. Off-setting would have at least allowed a reset.

So they should have made up a call to off-set it for the sake of Notre Dame getting another high percentage try?

Getting blocked isn't a penalty. If a dude's blocking you, you can throw him off. For all he knew, Notre Dame was going to throw a legal pass behind the line of scrimmage.

It's not like Notre Dame has ever benefited from the refs.

It's 1/2 page of Fantards saying it's not a foul and 6 1/2 pages of people laughing at them.

I have no dog in the fight but it was very questionable call in that situation. FSU had a blown coverage and got bailed out. Even without the rub (and if you watch the replay, the DB actually grabs the WR to cut off the inside slant), that ND guy would have been wide open anyway. The DB that was interfered with, did not have responsibility for the ND WR who scored.

I get ND fans frustration. They were the better team last night but got the short end of the stick in the end. FSU got outplayed but won.

Well we disagree. FSU played pretty poor in the first half and couldn't run a lick. ND looked much better balanced to me, especially in the trenches.

Are ND fans really bitching about calls?

Really? Notre Dame? That's a laugh.

And this was not a rub, pick or anything else. It was straight up downfield blocking before and while the ball was in the air. AKA: OPI.

And the foul called had nothing to do with that?

A beat writer on reddit says there is evidence that FSU boosters paid the refs. Reports are that it was $100 bills in an envelope.

FSU player also removed his helmet right after the catch was made in the end zone. should have been offsetting penalties, except the refs were too fricking stupid to call it.

absolute bullshite.

Because OP is a complete retard ND homer and keeps bumping and reposting this thread by responding to all the rational people who know the refs did the right job.

So thread title is lame sour grapes as well.
