But you can adjust to wide strike. LSU won it yesterday basically one bad call today it became 13 v 1 in OSU mind.
Im glad Tigers get to play Monday and Tuesday for certain.

Can't adjust to pitches in the other batters box. Can't hit that pitch. LSU was able to take better advantage of it because he was only giving that call on the outside to lefties and OSU had more left handed hitters

It's baseball, crap like this happens, but no team loses solely because of it. LSU created more offense and made less mistakes on the mound. They deserved it.

I didnt say you couldnt make contact with it, I said you cant hit it. You may as well hope it's called a ball, because you arent scoring runs if you have to swing at that all night.

Zone was awful, but it was like that from the 1st to the 9th.
LSU's approach was, frick it, swing when you get a good one, let the high and low ones go.
OSU's seemed to be "He can't keep calling them right? Let's sit here and wait for him to realize he's wrong..."

Here's what folks who actually know the game say.
Joe Scheueurmann "Why can't the umpire adjust his zone?"
Find the post where I said that the umpires cost Oregon state the game.
They could have hit and pitched it better, no question. That's got nothing to do with my argument. My point is that this umpire had an awful zone and he shouldn't be back there in games of this magnitude. It's bad for everyone.

Osu was too stupid to adjust and take advantage of it themselves.
Pat Casey should spend less time harboring child rapist and more time figuring out that if a strike zone is that wide then you have to swing early in the count.
It looked to me like the ump was trying to force action by hitters instead of encouraging them to sit with the bat on their shoulder.

do you actually believe that Pat Casey had no clue about this? come on you can't be fricking serious, the guy has been hailed for his attention to detail, has put players in the mlb so surely has mlb scout friends. He never heard a whisper at all about this?
