Parking lot of the Linc? Isn't Temple a true urban campus, without much room?

Pretty crazy that they're getting the prime time ABC spot. Good for them.

Glad Gameday is going too. The crowd will should be pretty great.

I get tired of the Notre Dame hype, but:

1. It's the only matchup between two ranked teams

2. The only comparable matchup is The World's Largest Cocktail Party, which is on CBS

3. They will be in Tuscaloosa the next week. They probably wouldn't go to the SEC site 2 weeks in a row, especially when both games are on CBS.

Notre Dame hype? Two top 25 teams. Team that has come from the dead and unbeaten. This is about Temple not Notre Dame.

My gosh the jealousy of the Irish is crazy sometimes.

Did I not say that? Did I say anywhere that it was not the best game of the day?

You said you were tired of the Notre Dame hype. So you took a shot at ND. That's why I responded in that way.

Good for Temple. Crazy to realize how things have changed since the fricking Big East excommunicated them.

Why do people think that a game is on CBS, ESPN will not go to it? They just had SEC Nation at Bama on Saturday and that was a CBS game and they also promoted that the game was called by "Uncle Verne" during the telecast. I think that myth needs to be busted. Both networks has lucrative contracts with the SEC. THEYRE IN THE SAME BED

Should have gone to Pullman for Wazzu-Stanford. May never have another chance.

Pullman would've been awesome too, but how many times do you think Temple will be undefeated in late October AND host the "university of college football"?

I think they've done that before

reason #1 is why they are going to Philly, it is a pretty crappy card.

To the OP, I don't think it's actually been announced yet. I think that's the AAC trying to get GameDay.

Anyway, I think it should definitely be Temple over Pullman. Four reasons:

1) Washington State already has two losses and one was to an FCS school. Temple is undefeated and ranked.

2) Washington State, if it keeps improving, should have plenty of opportunities to host in the next few years. Temple might not have that luxury as an AAC school.

3) Washington State's had plenty of bigger games in its history. This is, quite possibly, the biggest game in Temple's history. That's not exaggeration or hyperbole.

4) The opponents are basically a wash from a football perspective this year, but ND is a much bigger "name" than Stanford and more prestigious program.

WSU would prob be a better location/atmosphere, and WSU does have the flag thing I guess, but I don't think those trump the four reasons above. If anything, the flag thing continuing might be a reason not to choose Pullman and wait until WSU really earns it.
