Why does anyone truly care about this? Those who choose, of their own free will, to stand during the National Anthem; good for you. Those who choose to not stand do so thanks to the freedom to choose; good for them. It drives me nuts that people look to athletes, pop stars, and actors/actresses to validate or insult their moral compasses.

Depends on how you're calling him out.
If you're saying I disagree with him in one way or another, then I think that's fair.
If you're saying stuff like go back to Africa, well that's clearly racist. Not really any room for interpretation what that comment.
Then these same people want to chime in on an OT thread and say that America's really not that racist.
Go log on to Twitter and see the hateful things they're saying about him. We've come a long way but there's still a ways to go.

Why is "go back to Africa" racist ?
His ancestry is most likely rooted there. Since nobody can know what country he would rather reside in, and he seems to be Afro-centric in his public opinions, why wouldn't Africa be the first fricking continent to suggest?
Point is, "go back to Africa" is actually a relevant request.

Honestly, I don't understand the go back to Africa comments. He's not from Africa. His parents aren't from Africa and have likely never stepped foot in Africa. And without doing any research, I'm just gonna assume the same for his grandparents.
