One more postseason loss and can we change his nickname to "Clayton Ice?"

Ice usually means good.

How about "Clayoker" (yeah I know, horrible)

Unless you're an Atlanta Falcons QB in the postseason.

I guess if I had to explain the joke.........

Ryan is overrated IMO. He's a good QB but he's not great like some people think he is.

In come the down votes if someone finds this.

Kershaw absolutely has to deliver tomorrow or he deserves the choker label. I don't care about his stats he has to win and get the series back to Greinke and LA.

i dunno. what if he pitches like he did in game 2 of the 2013 NLCS. i get that the object of the game is to win but if you lose 1-0 and the only run scored the entire game is unearned i cant blame the pitcher

The only way Matt Ryan will earn his "Matty Ice" nickname is if he helps resurrect a city that has consistently failed in the postseason.

Ok back to Kershaw, I mean he's an ace, but he likely should just be yanked after the 6th unless he has an absurdly low pitch count on tomorrow.

Doesn't matter. I know I'm being extreme, but to be the best pitcher on the planet and an all time great you have to deliver in these moments. You can't lose three years in a row to send your team home. You have to find a way. Not to mention he has a very favorable matchup. Not going against DeGrom again.

This reminds me of all the talk about Barry Bonds being a postseason choker. Than he went out and had one of the greatest postseason performances of all-time in 2002. Nobody talked about Barry Bonds being a choker after that.
