That's got to be more than just a hyperextended knee, right? No way that injury doesn't include torn ligaments. Feel bad for that kid and hope he can bounce back to 100% next season.

You are going to see this start happening, might not happen with LF, but you will see this start happening.

So if he hyperextended wothout tearing any ligaments, that's good, right? Hyperextended doesn't sound as bad, but I never hyperextended anything except my penis.

Eta holy frick I just saw the pic. If he didn't tear anything I don't know shite.

i thought he had broken his leg when I saw it happen.

i remember watching a replay of a Super Bowl between the 49ers-Bengals from the late 80s and the Bengals had a D-lineman get his leg twisted similar to that.

broke his leg.

at least if its just a regular break, he won't need surgery.

I think it's a knee injury and not a break. ESPN has just reported that it's a knee injury.

The clueless OP said it was a hyper extension.

There's no way he escaped a major injury here. He may never be the same

oh, i've been out of the loop. That sucks.

I saw the replay and then the commentator was all like, "we aren't going to show the replay again."

kind of surprised they don't do that more now.

They will have to wait a little while for the swelling to go down to get an accurate MRI

However his knee joint was forced backwards, no way he didn't at least tear his ACL or PCL

If Chubb didn't tear his PCL on that hyperextension, his ligaments should be studied by the US military.

i saw LE's post back there.

yikes.

still not as cringe worthy as Willis McGahee or even Lattimore.

still tough to look at obviously though

They were trying to differentiate between a torn ligament and a broken leg

You have to feel like Chubb can come back

Mcgahee tore his right MCL and broke his right leg in 2012

In 2003 Mcgahee tore the MCL/PCL/ACL in his left knee in the NC Game
