You're a duke guy but youre not coach k yet. You have to have more wins to get calls. You would think he would know how this goes

You've got to be kidding. I would have ripped the officials and not even worried about the fine after that. Northwestern should pay the fine. The officials screwed them.

Good, he should be complaining.
NU has only themselves to blame for going down 22 with the way they played the 1st half. But they absolutely should be pissed at the refs for the missed goaltend and other calls in the 2nd.

Gonzaga played a completely different game than they have all year. It was as if their coach and whole team had NW +10
Gonzaga play fast, they don't walk it up, they dont wait till last 10 to shoot.
Even the guys on TBS said as much, they said why would you play slow, and play for a low scoring game? It's not the way you play the game.

There are bad calls in every college basketball game. Its a hard sport to officiate and the refs suck. Plus he coached at duke so he has no right to complain

As Barkley said if he could see the goaltend from the bench what were the officials looking underneath the basket?
He is going to get killed for making a bad call worse but he's human. He knew that was a huge call.

WTF does that have to do with anything. Everybody knows Duke gets calls but what does that have to do with NW getting hosed in the second half? It wasn't just the awful call on the block, they were letting The Zags knock them around like rag dolls in the last 10 minutes of the game.

Arkansas did the same thing yesterday vs Seton Hall. We played their game, playing slow,attacking at the rim when we knew that SH would kill us on the glass. We only took 7 threes in the game.

Goal tending in the half court is the responsibility of the Center official, the official on the wing at free throw line extended

Exactly. Gonzaga had 36 FT attempts to NU's 13. IIRC Gonzaga was in the double bonus before the 10 minute mark of the 2nd half, too.
Damn near the entire arena was booing when NU got to the paint and were hammered without a call.

Yep. And I can live with bad calls, but 19-20yr old kids having mics shoved in their faces while the refs waltz away is bullshite.
