The guy has thrown 15 straight balls and we swung at every damn one. Unfricking believable. What a god damn joke.

You couldn't have asked for a better situation there. 2 on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. For whatever reason we swing at 15 straight balls.

Look I get that is a great pitch, but when Familia has thrown it 15 straight times you would think we could adjust and NOT SWING.

That was very disappointing I agree. Bryant swung at 4 that were not even close to strikes, and WC pretty much the same. And you knew Baez wasn't even thinking about taking. Pretty frustrating to watch.

Honestly it's a game the Cubs had no business losing. Mets were coming in struggling and pretty much needed the game handed to them and the Cubs obliged. I Joe can take some blame himself as well.

Maddon needs blame anytime he uses Joel Peralta. He did this shite with Rodney last year also. He seems to be infatuated with a few old, shitty relievers he had in Tampa.

We have got to get bullpen help. Just have to.

You mean 40 year old Joel Peralta wasn't the answer? Look, I know the bullpen will br addressed at or before the deadline, but it is frustrating watching them hand over games in the interim. It's like a time portal back to 2012 every time the 'pen gets called.

Peralta's "thing" is that he has drastic splits against left handed hitters...meaning, he's had good success against lefties. But he didn't get a single person out last night and he pitched to three lefties I think. And in Cincinnati, Joey Votto hit a dinger off him in one game and the next he hit a hard liner to Zobrist off Peralta, but the Cubs got lucky and turned it into a double play.

I think Peralta is gone soon. But if Maddon wanted to get out of the inning in the 7th, he should have gone to Wood or Cahill.

As frustrating as it is to watch the bullpen suck, it will be a good thing in the longterm as it's forcing Theo's hand to make a big splash.

It takes two to tango and SF, TX and DC all want the same BP arms.

Not saying Theo won't do it, but whoever lands the big names is going to have to pay something that makes their fanbase uncomfortable

Theo just reiterated that the Cubs won't trade Schwarber.

We got to figure out a way that wood can pitch every day. Glue his arm on or something

Lol, I am pretty sure all of our pitchers are mammals and cannot live in the water.

I have it on good authority that Mr. Blister, Clayton "Crossfire" Richard is a reptile.
