Bud Foster is a terrific coach but a lot of the cards aligned for them last year. A completely revamped Ohio State offense with a raw QB gave him the perfect opportunity to surprise them with the Bear front.

No way Urban lets that happen again. I kind of wish he wouldn't announce a starter so VT comes in having to prepare equally for all 3. But I more so want him to tell Bud what's coming and shove the ball down their throat.

This game is interesting as Mike MacIntyre and Norm Chow both need to put together a good season. Also, Hawaii will feature former USC player Max Wittek as their QB.

Va Tech is going to keep this game close...it is pretty well going around now unless something miraculously happens this is Beamer's last year (heck, if some rumors are true about his health, he will not be there for the whole year). Foster will be scheming like a mad man to win another one for Beamer.

The D-line will be very solid with the return of Maddy, which will stop the run. And the secondary is never an issue. With Fuller back there, we usually neutralize the best WR for any other team.

All that being said, the offense could come out and turnover the ball 5 times and it could be Ohio State by 100.

I'm so starved for CFB that I will take any decent P5 v P5 match up the first few weeks.

And Minnesota lost its only offensive talent.

Upside for Minnesota is its at home. Downside is it'll be their first game without David Cobb and Maxx Williams.

As it looks on paper, Minnesota will mightily struggle to put points on the board this season.

Bud Foster is a fricking wildcard though.

Always has been, but OSU will be ok. Va Tech QB situation has been a dumpster fire since Tyrod Taylor left.

tOSU vs VaTech is a big time game. Wisconsin vs Bama is also a big time game. It's definitely not the greatest opening weekend but it's good enough.

Week 2 with Oregon vs Michigan State should be great.

Virginia Tech is stout on the defensive line and backfield.

That should be a decent game, and is gonna draw a huge TV rating.

tOSU is gonna work over VT like small children. It will not be close.

No no, no they won't.

But you can imagine what it'd be like if they did
