I think LSU is ranked too high, but we will know just how good they are Week 1.

16 of the top 25 are/will be in the two conference overlords.

8 current and future SEC and 8 Big Ten. Welcome to super conferences. This is where we are headed.

How do you put Iowa in the rankings?

You know what's funny... you talking smack when Iowa and South Carolina had the same record last year...

Preseason polls are worse than weather forecasts for the next week, it's all a guess.

How come LSU is behind Alabama? Tennessee behind Clemson? Utah behind USC?

All those teams played each other around the end of last season and the better team is ranked lower

I fixed it. Still 16/25 about 3/4 in two conferences.

So everyone just copies everybody...

ESPN and Preseason pundits get the ball rolling then the preseason polls ape them.

I think James Madison is going to be good again this year, maybe Top 25 good, but once again will be ineligible for playing in the Sunbelt Conference championship game.

That's complete BS, and I say that as a fan of a school in the Funbelt.

UGA also won the natty, which was last season, and although we have a brand new QB and OC, they still decided to rank us #1

Is anyone taking OU or Wisconsin over any team ranked 21-25? I don't think I am as it sits today, and I say that as someone who believes OU is capable of 10 wins this year.

But South Carolina isn't ranked.
