Also, if you think Superdome has had a better concert history than MSG, you are absolutely beyond the point of changing your mind. That is absurd to say.
True. I'd say that MSG has a visible (but not huge) edge over the Superdome in the non-sports world, but the sports resume of the Superdome blows MSG out of the water, no question. I say Superdome has a significant edge.

Among the team sports, only four major titles have clinched in the Garden. Compare that to 22 for the Superdome.

Also quit with the Papal Mass thing. MSG had one too.

We had 80,000 at ours.

Superdome doesn't host the westminster dog show.

I understand that. Since 1968 some serious shite has gone down at MSG. Both stadiums have history, but MSG has the edge.

Concerts and boxing aren't even close and both have had a papal mass.

As far as other sports, they host different ones and both have impressive lists.

Multiple NBA Finals and Stanley Cup finals vs. Super Bowls and NCAA tournaments/champ games.

Thats a faulty number since Madison Square Garden hosts series', not just single game finals.

They've had tons of NBA Finals and Stanley Cup Finals games.

22 total

It is very rare that a major team sport's championship is clinched in MSG. It is very common that it happens at the Superdome.

That has no effect on this argument. There are a lot more devout Catholics in South Louisiana. They still both held a papal mass. You're splitting hairs.

The Knicks have had 5 NBA finals series that held games in MSG. Rangers have had 2 series that held games there.

well for 1, his list was a worldwide list

2, he had alex box stadium ahead of the superdome..

3, again it was "best venue" in sports. I was never arguing that. You suck at this

25, to be exact.

Counting all the Final Four games, the Superdome still has more: 29.

Sorry, but the Superdome has the edge big time when it comes to sports.

We should just poll the country about which is more historic.

It helps that New York is maybe the center of the world and MSG is its most well-known venue.

B. Wrestlemania? Leave those off both lists

A major entertainment event that brought millions of dollars to the city and sold out the Dome should be left off the list?

Guess we can leave off concerts as well.
