Take a look at the recruiting rankings for the last four years and you'll find that answer.

Results on the field also bear this out.

Should use NFL as the gauge for talent, not recruiting rankings

You're better than this.

Unless they're both high ranked nobody up here really cares. They'll watch cuz it's football, not cuz it's the iron bowl. The Kick Six has given it a ton of hype

Well, you can say this about every rivalry when it comes to viewers outside the region.

Meyer vs. Harbaugh...you can see why someone would put the two trending programs #1 right now.

Excluding just a short list of "traditional rivalries" -- Alabama-Auburn, Michigan-Ohio State, Notre Dame-USC, Oklahoma-Texas, Army-Navy, BYU-Utah, Cal-Stanford, Florida-Florida State, Georgia-Georgia Tech, Clemson-South Carolina, UCLA-USC, Arizona-Arizona State, Ole Miss Rebels , Mississippi State Bulldogs , Oregon-Oregon State -- here are the next best modern rivalries.

What are the MSBs thoughts

1. Michigan State-Ohio State
2. Florida State-Clemson
3. Alabama-LSU
4. Stanford-Oregon
5. TCU-Baylor

If we aren't counting traditional Rivalries, then its just really a question of the order. Who else really deserves to be on the list?

Does Arkansas vs LSU or Florida vs LSU count?

Those two being above Bama/LSU or Bama/AU is laughable.
