Melo is 4 years older than Love and isn't the same elite scorer he was a few years ago. Melo would become the third scorer on that team and it will be a mess.

Melo has to have the ball to be dominant. This would all have a negative effect on their ball movement.

Well Lebron wants a playmaker. Melo can be that next guy who can get his own shot and make some plays better than love can.

Melo at his best is a better player than Love.

At this point in their careers and ages, Melo plays "at his best" very seldomly and will continue to decline.

He's pretty garbage at this point.

Kevin Love is a good player that does a lot of things and is a team player.

No. Even if everything else is a wash, I'd want Love's rebounding.

“I should be there. There was one point they were looking at me like that. I made it 10 years straight. Right now it’s a rough patch for me. I’m trying to figure out a way to get out of that.”

No he doesn't. All he did on the Olympic team was catch and shoot and he was the highest scorer on the team.
he can still shoot, and he can still create his own shot. I don't think he's as good as a defender as Love, and he's certainly not a better rebounder or guy that does extra things like offensive rebounds like Love does.
Love isn't going to go off in a game and win it for them single handedly. Melo could do that when he's on. And when he isn't on, if he is smart enough to take the back seat while Kyrie does his thing, it would work out great. You play Melo for the first 6 minutes or so and then give him a break and then let him go with the second unit and that's where you let him be the ball dominant guy.

Yep. You team up Melo with Lebron and that's what you'll get. Melo playing at a hiiiiiih level. At this point last year when love was having trouble fitting in it would have been a no brainer for most to move him for Melo.

Shiiiiiiiit, that's like offering to give someone $50 if they give you $100.

He really can't understand that the moment he left Denver for NY he was screwed?

And, as usual you base this on nothing and just make a baseless assertion.

The facts are, Melo is old and declining, doesn't rebound, doesn't play at a high level consistently, doesn't play defense, and has basically never been a good teammate.

It is laughable.

What? Love is a far better rebounder and can play on the block (has the body to bang with other bigs too for the duration of a game.) Melo has become a better 3pt shooter with age even then they're about even. Really the only thing Melo has on Love is that he can put the ball on the floor.

No one here backs up their opinions with data, links, articles etc more than me.

Since that's what you looking for. Last year Anthony had the higher

PER
VORP
BPM

Ts% love is better but Anthony takes much much tougher shots so that's a little deceiving. Anthony is the better shooter. Anthony is also the better playmaker. Etc etc.
