Those are characteristics of his game that were beneficial to OSU that wouldn't have been there with Barrett IMO
His ability to fight for extra yardage on scrambles with his huge frame was a HUGE difference maker in the Bama game

I hope he made the right decision for his sake. This is good for Ohio State because I was hoping they would keep at least two of the QB's.
If anyone thinks Cardale is the best QB for Ohio State, then they have not watched the Buckeyes much. JT Barrett is one of the top college QB's in the country. He accounted for like 3.75 TD's per game as a redshirt freshman. He can make a lot of throws Braxton and Cardale cannot make (accuracy, not arm strength).
The Buckeyes would have been even better if JT was healthy. I said they were the best team in the country in the second half of the season.

They've already said thaBarrett will participate in the spring but not at full go. I'm guessing that means throwing and mental reps.
We will get a good look at Collier in the spring game to see his progress and Cardale of course.

That's because he did. Cardale was 2nd after Spring, lost the job in fall camp.
