My first inclination was to say yes before I realized the NBA is eight billion dollars behind the NFL in annual revenue. Yeah, I know the NBA's huge TV contracts haven't kicked in yet. But that contract adds "only" $1.75 billion in annual revenue. It still puts them $6 billion/year behind the NFL. How will they catch up?

The NBA already has a $700 million contract with a chinese streaming service for game rights. The NBA's way to revenue increases is through other international TV deals. I think that is how they catch the NFL, if they do at all.

Never, IMHO, but that's probably because I live in a football state. Granted, I don't give a damn for the NFL or NBA, but of the people I know, football just tops basketball in general.
