Funny that Alford is a hot commodity again. Some UCLA fans wanted him out last year.

Lol. What? How exactly did Iowa screw Alford? If anything the roles were reversed. We gave him everything he wanted and when he didn't produce and the seat started getting hot he bolted.

It was hilarious the spin put on that, that New Mexico was a better job than Iowa. Heck no. Iowa is a Big Ten program and UNM is MWC. Iowa has more money and resources and was a perennial Tournament team and made its fair share of Sweet 16s when Tom Davis was the coach. Alford couldn't produce at that level and the program regressed and still hasn't recovered. Thanks Steve.

Steve Alford seems like a logical choice.

Wasn't Alford's seat getting a bit warm before this season? Seems to me he is only looked upon favorably now because of Ball.

You have any idea how many promises Iowa broke what we were told before he accepted the job? No you don't Iowa didn't keep a single promise no new facility no new basketball ops and no raises for assistant

So Iowa fricked him over.
