This will be the NFL in 2022:
Jags to London and become the Bulldogs
2 out of 3 Ram/Raiders/Chargers in LA
The other stays put
honestly I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see an NFL expansion by then.

This article takes a bite out the NFL drum beat that England is just foaming at the mouth for more NFL.

The NFL doesn't really care about a London base team being able to compete at a high level.

I like it.

Wasn't the bad guy from "The Patriot" a "Dragoon?"

Throw in the ridiculous tax rates in England and attracting quality free agents will be a disaster.

What player would sign for a team that has to make a transatlantic flight 8 times a season. I guess they could block their road games into having like 4 in a row or something, but nobody with roots here wants to go play football over there.

Yeah London is so much worse than Cleveland or Detroit. England's gorgeous man. Not to mention you'll actually get to explore Europe and get paid NFL salaries.

Good point. Nothing will draw an inner city black youth like the promise of European cultural adventure.

I think you're missing the point. No one is slamming London the city.

You should all read the series by Scott Sigler starting with "The Rookie" about the GFL (Galactic Football League) , its 4 books so far and an amazing read . It follows one player but goes into great detail all the challenges of travel, scheduling, security , all kinda cool stuff all based on American football

Won't all the players who play as visitors have to pay taxes over there too? I know they have to file in a ridiculous number of states because of away contests

How about a fat contract and a condo in Amsterdam?

What are they now? I know in the '70s they went up to 83% (and 98% on investments!!!)
