Grimes makes the probowl yet Breaux doesn't.
Grimes: 49 tackles, four interceptions, and broke up 14 passes this past season.
Breaux: 45 tackles, 3 interceptions and 19 pass defenses.
And I know Breaux had something like 22% of passes thrown his way either intercepted or defensed.

Brent Grimes also plays for a defense that isn't historically bad.

Just because a team is historically bad doesn't mean everyone should be penalized. If anything it makes how well he did more impressive.

Sadly that's what most people outside of Saints fans seem to remember. He is a very good corner, and it's hard to find a more deserving player. He has the potential to be a top 10, even top 5 corner in this league.

Also Breaux had a rough start to the season. Don't worry, if Breaux stays healthy and plays next season as well as he played the back end of this season he will make several pro bowls before its all said and done.

the stats you show don't really make the case for Breaux over Grimes.

Stats for a cornerback don't really tell the whole story. I can't find any advanced statistics. I did show that he had 22% of passes thrown his way were an interception or incompletion or pass breakup, which was the highest percentage of any corner in the NFL.
