Ingram might be soft, but it's not because of his mentality. Dude plays aggressive as hell. Simmons plays soft as frick for 80% of every game. I think he'll be awesome, though.

Idk what to think of my take

Yours was one of the better ones

Simmons will never be mj
Buddy reminds me of wade
Simmons reminds me of Anthony Davis
I would not have picked Simmons in the first round

I really went hard on this one lol I was very much wrong as frick.

Hats off to Ben. Ingram still put up 25 and I believe can be a dominant scorer eventually. But overall, Simmons

Really like the route the league is going with a lot of these young players on certainly not good teams.

Giannis, Simmons, Embiid, Porzingis, Lonzo, Dennis Smith (this years draft class in general) , Wiggins, Towns, Davis... shite, are all those guys under 25?

The NBA has some amazing talent coming up. 6-7 years from now when all these young guys hit their prime, and Lebron has officially retired. The NBA will still be exciting af to watch.

Wow this thread was a total shite show. Some folks need some review.

Simmons was and is one of the best basketball players I've seen in the last 15 years @ his age.

You also got Porter and Bagley coming out next year which will help.

One of them will most likely go to Cleveland.

I liked Ingrams ultimate long term potential before and would have chosen him at #1. Idk where ingrams ceiling will be but I'm more than willing to accept that simmons was the right choice at #1 and I was wrong

If Simmons can't learn to shoot beyond 3 feet, then he'll be out of the league before he's 25. It's one thing to be an average jump shooter,or even below average, but to not even be able to take the shots because you are so bad at them? His shot chart is worse than Tyson Chandler's. I don't care how good you are at passing, unless you are a Ben Wallace level paint protector you aren't making long in today's NBA with a shot selection/capability like that.

This board use to love some Ben Simmons. But this thread seemed on point in the long run.
