Sunday, BR Open, started on #10, 158 yards out, 6 iron to 18 inches.

Is 150 still the first mound?

I could never hit a wedge that close on that green. I hate that hole. And 11. Glad Im starting on it.

I was playing Gayle in match play a very long time ago I had my accuflex shaft XXX. He was 4 up on 12 and and I swung so hard my back went limp. We got up to it and it somehow cleared the water left...LOL. Longest carry I ever hit. He won 6 and 5 or 6 up.

Still remember it like yesterday...

I was 2 down on 9....He hits about 9 to 20 feet. I have a chip shot I hit to 4 feet. I tell my dad...welp 1 back vs the top player in BR going to back where length matter.

He drains it, I miss. Welp 3 down.

I think so. Pin was back right, behind the trap. My playing partner I was matched with, who I didn't know, asked after that shot,"what flight are we in?"

I promptly bailed out on 11 and hit my tee shot into the tree and bogeyed.

I swear I have hit a 225 yd 7 iron before.

#2 at Webb, totally thinned a 7 iron over the green, onto the street, stopped bouncing on #3 tee box.

I'm going out if town this week, so I couldn't sign up. I'm a little disappointed I couldn't play.

Any of y'all playing in the mid am? Deadline is 1 week from today I think.

Had 110 to a front pin on #13 the other day flew the green with my sand wedge and almost put it in the street. I have zero distance control off those fairways with wedges.

Good! I'd rather be hitting wedges and 9 irons instead of 5's and 6's. #10 and #13 might be a little trickier with all the roll, but the others are fine by me!
