I think we are witnessing the future of boxing right now in the ring.

Talent wise, yes, but I have no confidence in his promoter to get him the right fights to build him into a star. Keith Thurman is already making excuses not to fight him. Danny Garcia will be next, I'm sure.

Spence will fight anybody, but no one else will want to fight him. At least none of the upper level welterweights.

I didn't score that fight but it felt like a draw to me. Algieri was clowning Khan at times.

Louisianimal doesn't wanna hear this....but that ^^^^ is the Al Haymon way of matchmaking.

I'll give you that. Haymon is a terrible matchmaking and he gives his fighters too much control. Spence has been added to everybody's duck list. No way Eddie Hearn let's him in there with Kell Brook either.

You got that right. Watch how many excuses get made to avoid him.

"He's unknown"
"He's not a big draw"
"High Risk/Low Reward"
"He's unproven"

I try to be pretty even keel and unbias. Al Haymon has his flaws. But to say he is killing boxing is a stretch. If boxing is still alive after all of Bob Arums in house fights no one can kill it.

I've been a big fan of Errol Spence since the olympics, I've been pumping him up for a while now. Gary Russell Jr looks great too.

Have to think a Mayweather type fight would break the bank and make more $$ on a network than PPV.

I would love to hear the logic behind this!

All the potential in the world but he just doesn't have "it". He needs to quit calling out Lomachenko when we all know he has no intention of getting his tail whipped again by Loma.

Network throws up big $$$ in bid to have TV rights. Sells ads for big $$$ because of all the eyeballs that will be on this fight. Think of a dollar amount for the CFB Champ game or Masters or Daytona, a number like that.
