Which specific year should he have won it?
Show me the year and his regular season stats that year, and I'll show you someone with a better season.

If that happens Boogie will split his vote... And there's no way we win 60+

I agree that Lebron has been the best player in the League the last decade. But the NBA has made it clear that that's not what the award is about.

The NBA does it right in the MVP voting. Baseball is usually a MOP award.

MVP and MOP are 2 separate and completely differing items.

Best example is when Harper win the NL MVP. The Nats did not make the playoffs and were fading when he was still available. He did though have the best stats that year.

Ok. AD practicing with the best center in the league takes his post game to a higher level and he makes the mini leap into top three player in the league becoming an offensive monster.

How about 2014 when LeGOAT averaged 27-7-6 on 57% FG on 38 min/game and led league in box plus/minus meaning, of all NBA players, LeGOAT made his team more points better than every player in basketball including 2014 MVP KD and led the defending champs to the 2 conference seed? Or better yet how about this most recent season when he led the defending champion Cavs to the 2 conference seed on 26-8-8 55% FG on 38 min/game? You could easily make arguments for 2015 and 2016 despite no one in their right mind would vote GOAT over Steph when Steph led the Dubs to 73 wins in a record-breaking year for himself personally. 2015 LeGOAT exceeded MVP Steph in scoring average and improved a team from 33 to 53 wins and achieved no. 2 conference seed his first season with the team, IDK I find that pretty compelling Steph had more help that season and is familiar with the Splash Brother offense after 5 seasons in GSW.

they dont offer money lines for games <3 or over 10 or so. also set higher/lower than other sites depending on public distribution. it also takes them forever to put new lines up. and they put max limits on bets. usually over a $1000 you have to have approved by the sb "team"

i have used in the past and prefer their website layout to others honestly. i think 5 dimes layout sucks.

You kind of pay for what you get in life, but I understand the frustration from your point of view. I tried to put more than $500 on the Rockets over win total last season...significantly more as that was the one I saw as the easiest gimme...and they denied me every time.

But you want a user friendly site with a great layout and easy entry/exit method, use Bovada if you're more casual like I am 99% of the time. They aren't catering to the hardcore sports gamblers. They are catering to the more casual gambler.

Also, the AD 16/1 is another terrible, terrible bet. This isn't the "Most Gifted Player" award. Even if he made a jump and we made the playoffs in the middle seeds, it wouldn't be enough. We'd have to finish top 3, 4 at worst with a 52+ win season close to the 3 seed, to even have a chance. That's...not very likely.

If you want to bet on a hometown guy, Brees at 25/1 (considering he's never won and the NFC doesn't have that dominant team) and Guice at 12/1 (RBs/QBs win Heismans) are much, MUCH better futures bets imo.

Oh you mean that Cav team that also acquired the All Star/Olympian Kevin Love to team up with LeBron and had 2 number 1 overall picks on it?

While the Warriors just added a new coach? That team?

Want to try again? You are making a good MOP but not MVP argument.

Oh you mean the Warriors that won 50+ the year preceding Kerr's arrival with Curry/Dray/Thompson and a Cavs team that executed a 20 game improvement from bottom-feeder to no. 2 conference seed LeGOAT's first season with a new team and lineup? Wanna look up the definition of "valuable?"

Sure if you want to look up the definition of Outstanding. You are wrong on this one, but it is okay. One day, you may eventually find the right combination of medication and therapy to combat your High Level Autism.

S for someone with as many apparent deficiencies as you have I'd expect you to maybe be a little less crude to others for simply disagreeing with you. Settle down bubba.

So we're just gonna disregard PER, box plus/minus, VORP and win shares, the primary metrics of determining one's value to their team? What reasonable, measured criteria exists to establish whether one's an NBA MVP? CMON MAN

I didn't say I totally agree with it. I thought Lebron and Kawhi were the two most deserving last year, mainly because they were the two best in the game. I just know how it is awarded in the past.

This is overblown.

There's really only about a 2 year span where Kobe has an argument as the best player in the game.

????

It was more like 5

05-06 (Nash), 06-07(Dirk), 07-08 (a disputed MVP), 08-09, and 09-10 (consecutive championships)
