In the past more than 30 years ago probably closer to 50 the world champion didn't defend so frequently.

This was true in the territory days.

It wasn't really until the 70's or 80's would the number one draw defend the title weekly or even 4-5 days a week if not more.

No one hates john cena the man. It's the character. His gimmick is somewhat stale and although he puts talent over he tends to bury them on the biggest stage. Of course this is also due to shitty booking and creative

I know Rasslin is super popular but IF ESPN is a true sports network. they should NEVER EVER mention something as fake as WWE.....

Yeah, the WWE has completely discredited ESPN. Never mind the constant Hollywood plugging they do, or the fricking dog show, or the fricking spelling bee. What the frick does a spelling bee have to do with fricking sports? Oh nevermind the E in ESPN stands for entertainment. God damn them for covering rasslin.

I honestly miss the original rapper John Cena.

WWE didn't really try to push CM punk. CM punk just rose but he never got along with management. WWE feels like the biggest case of suck up to your boss or you will get destroyed type company. You should listen to some of the Vince McMahon's interviews over the last decade. WWE has one huge arse Jerry Jones and Nepotism problem. That mindset is killing their creativity.

Agreed. Vince got power hungry and has a huge ego problem. He didn't do bad for himself for coming out the trailer park.

he give a reason for this?

He didn't say it, but UFC is doing actual testing for PEDs now.

That or TV Board. Definitely not sports.

ETA - Cirque Du Soilel and ballet are as much sports as WWE.

Not sure if serious. That's not the reason.

UFC imo will take a big hit initially with the more stringent testing. More athletes will piss hot or main athletes will withdraw from injuries. Just my opinion. I'm all for legitimate prescription for roids and trt.

Smart move by Lesnar, make much more money while not risking destroying his legacy with one bad fight and can go home each night without having to get the crap out of him.

Besides, performing in front of 70,000+ fans at Wrestlemania is something UFC can't offer. Has to be pretty cool to perform in front of a crowd like that. That Superdome atmosphere was unbelievable last year.

ESPN airs the NBA and the NFL, both of which are obviously fixed to some extent.

Ambrose and Rollins are way ahead of Reigns; Bryan and Ziggler are both extremely over.

I wish Zigs got more spot light. I really like him. He is my favorite of everyone. I enjoy Bryan and Ambrose too. I have a huge crush on Paige AJ is easy to look at too. Can't stand any of the other divas.

Can't stand Rollins. He certainly seems to execute well, but I hate the whole J&J security shite. It got tired a long time ago. I also really like Orton. I'm glad I can root for him now that he's gone against the Authority. Their story lines often seem to just drag on (and make no sense). Russev is another example. I really hope he finally losses to Cena. But if he is this beast and never loses why isn't he getting a title shot? It was great when the Rock made an appearance in Brooklyn and smacked him down a peg or two. Dude is magic on the mic.

It is also funny to see H and Steph play their rolls. From what I have heard, they are extremely nice people in real life.

Smackdown is coming to Houston in June, so I am going to surprise my son with tickets and pick him up early from school. I expect he'll lose his shite more than when we surprised him with Disney World.

Ambrose, Rollins, ziggy and Brian are the guarenteed future of WWE.

I was at WM 30 last year in NOLA and Bryan was "it" last year.

The reason Cena gets booed is because he's been shoved down the fans' throats for the past 10-12 years and they just keep shoving. His character is ultra-douchey and the only people he appeals to are women and kids. I don't know any straight adult males who can stand the guy. I admire his charity work and his work ethic, but unless he turns heel like Hogan did in the late-90s, he shouldn't be anywhere near the championship.

Very well put.

At least not the one he's giving to the media....

There has only been one fighter in UFC with a legitimate need for TRT and that's Bigfoot Silva.

The problem with allowing it for injuries is that it is a very thin line. Everyone in MMA typically has some kind of injury that they're fighting through. Maybe they can let them use it, but they cannot fight for 6 months after the treatment ends.

Sorry but diverticulitis was not caused by roids or hgh.

The division was weak at the time when he beat randy couture.

He was beating Cain until he got hit. I honestly think Brock didn't like getting hit
