Why should he?

He already won the UFC Heavyweight Championship while battling diverticulitis

Not compared to the other stars. He shows up what for ten minutes a week with the occasional "fight"?

It isn't like he is Cena, Rollins, Reigns, etc who is on much more often and longer.

Oh OK. I didn't know he had a sweetheart deal. I was just assuming he was like the regular wrestlers, I apologize for my ignorance.

Yeah. From what I can tell Heyman gets more airtime than Brock

Its the reason everyone was so surprised he has been the champ for so long. He's never around but he holds the title.

Not sure if that is the norm and has happened in the past. I have only really watched for about a year since my son is into WWE.

He certainly seems to have a sweet set up.

I never watched WWF or WCW but I like reading their autobiographies. Those guys bust their arse, and frankly it's amazing what Cena does for the make a wish kids in his spare time.

Yeah, anyone who's done both mma and wrestling always say that the latter is much harder on your body.

Yeah. He gets a ton of hate.

I don't get it. At all.

I guess it's the Lebron syndrome type of thing where it's cool to hate him. He's done way, way more than any other superstar for Make a Wish from what I've read.

The last guy to hold the title for more than 200 days was CM Punk and he was battling on every ppv and was one nearly every raw.

Brock has a deal of a lifetime.

Full time pay to work a couple shows a month. It is a sweet deal.

It's the cool thing to hate on Cena and he doesn't have the indy cred. Same reason that all the neckbeard dorks like Ambrose and Rollins but hate Reigns.

It really is, and I'm not going to claim he's God's gift to wrestling, but I think he's really good. I'm not in the crowd that boos him, he gets the same reaction Hogan/Rock/Austin/Flair gets from me when his music plays. Total respect, man deserves a damn break, but he probably doesn't want to take one.

He's been the top guy for like a decade now but that's not really his fault because no one else wants to step up and take his place. They tried with Punk and he quit.

Yeah I think the Rock had an even sweeter deal.

Big movie star
Comes back,
main events a couple of Wrestlemanias,
wins title,
shows up like once every 2 months,
keeps making movies,

The reason Cena gets booed is because he's been shoved down the fans' throats for the past 10-12 years and they just keep shoving. His character is ultra-douchey and the only people he appeals to are women and kids. I don't know any straight adult males who can stand the guy. I admire his charity work and his work ethic, but unless he turns heel like Hogan did in the late-90s, he shouldn't be anywhere near the championship.

As for Reigns, the reason he's getting booed is because he's being pushed too hard, too fast. The guy is still green and there are much more deserving guys. Ambrose and Rollins are way ahead of Reigns; Bryan and Ziggler are both extremely over. The only reason Reigns is getting the push is because of his look, which had always been Vince's top priority. He pushed guys like Warrior and Hogan based on their look alone. Anybody remember Tom Magee?

As far as Brock goes, he's done it all: NCAA champ, WWE champ, UFC champ. Heck, he almost made the Vikings roster without ever having played football before. The guy is a freak, plain and simple.
