if the Red Sox continue to falter at this rate....does he make it past the All Star break?

He makes it through the season, IMO. He inherited all of Theo Epstein's personnel. They are in a bad state, but he needs time to implement his system.
The Beckett statement last night actually makes Bobby V look much better in that people recognize the shite he is dealing with.

I'm not sure how much of the problem he is, but he is easier to change than revamping the entire pitching staff, so he probably goes first if things don't get turned around.
Unless there is an incident, I suspect he makes it through the end of the season. Although I could see a scenario where that doesn't happen.

None of this is Bobby V's fault. They have $70 million on the DL right now with Lackey, Dice K, Ellsbury, Bailey, Youkilis and Crawford out. Also, Beckett, Lester and Bucholtz are not performing anywhere close to expectations. These are not Bobby V's doings.

He's been awful. Bullpen use has been terrible, and he's always popping off for no reason.
Of course he could be Tony La Russa and Connie Mack's lovechild and they would still be below .500 with the underperformance/injuries.
