I used to keep stats in a spiral notebook for Tecmo Super Bowl.

Warren Moon had an amazing deep ball in that game. He could throw it 100 yards.
I could run for over 600 yards per game with Bo Jackson.
Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas were also a great offensive combination.
Anyone ever do the cheat where you could sack the QB with the NT over and over again if you dipped down and dove right when the ball was snapped? It was devastating.

Hell yeah and the best NT in the game was Bob Nelson from Green Bay. He was unstoppable when dipping down to avoid the Center and sacking the qb.

In the original tecmo bowl the 49ers were literally unbeatable. They had a pass play that could not be intercepted. You could complete it even if they picked your play.

I saw a comment on a Tecmo Bowl YouTube video that said Tecmo Bowl is the reason Mike Singletary got into the NFL HOF.
