I feel like this is possibly the third time now that ESPN has ran a Howard to team X story.

How much is that in salary each year?? I'm guessing Kobe is taking a paycut and Dwight is only a 1 year rental

Kobe isnt allowed to take a paycut and the NBA salary cap is a sham.

The cap is around $60 million. They Lakers will be around $100 million in salary

That's another reason I hate this trade. When he wins, people will say this. Jordan didn't win 3/6 titles playing 2nd fiddle.

the MSB is stupid. The flamers who post in Laker threads are worse.

I feel sick that I'll be pulling for the Heat in the finals, unless OKC can beat LA. OKC's 1-3 demolish LA's, but Pau and Howard are going to be the difference makers.

Nope, but he won 0/6 titles without one of the best all around players of all time and the GOAT coach

If Kobe wins 6, it will be, effectively, with three different teams and 2 different sets of coaches. The common denominator: Kobe

Ergo Kobe >> Jordan

I really don't think that Phil made a major difference. Maybe for the first title or two, but after that, with their talent, it didn't matter.

I understand your meaning, but I'm not sure it is accurate to say James harden will demolish Kobe Bryant.

It's funny how dumb you are

All 5 of Kobe's titles have been with the GOAT coach, so I guess he is 0/5 there.

3 of those were with the greatest low post player at that time (and Finals MVP all three times). Making those 3 even lower.

Ring #4 came against a shitty Orlando team that only had Dwight Howard.

Ring #5 will be the only one he earned, but even then, it's not hard to win with two low post guys like Gasol and Bynum.

Possible Ring #6 will have him playing second fiddle to the best low post player currently once again.

So, newsflash: You are a Lakers homer but more importantly, an idiot

Anyone else think Denver gave up a little too much for Iggy? I like Affalo's all around game & Al H. is a pretty darn good stretch 4 off the bench. Throw in the # pick & that's a little steep. (not a lot tho). They did have a cluster @ the 2.

I think the Sixers just made a strong case for #2 in East (w/ Rose's knee issues)
