Toronto Raptors center Bismack Biyombo made himself a ton of money in his team’s seven-game triumph over the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Semifinals — especially in the series-deciding game. Biyombo, who will hit free agency this summer, was simply unstoppable in the paint, scoring 17 points and grabbing 16 rebounds and swatting two shots in Toronto’s 116-89 win. The performance included a couple of monster dunks that absolutely demoralized the visiting Heat:

The entire country was talking about jeremy lin, people who didn't even care about sports. You couldn't turn on TV without hearing about lin.

Unless you're watching the NBA playoffs or watching/reading about sports, you dont' know who biyombo is.

I guess he worked on his game. 7th pick overall.

The speed he shows getting back on defense is just amazing.

He's gonna look good in clutch city red next season playing next to horford and harden.

He will. Do you think he'll wear red when he begins fishing on Lake Conroe in late April?

I thought it was cool. Just a guy having a little fun in a moment after he just had a monster dunk.

I think Biyombo could have a really good career going forward. I don't think he's anything like Lin.

I never fished lake Conroe so you're gonna have to explain what you're trying to convey.

He would be as good a fit for that team as anyone could possibly be with Harden still there. Harden would have to cross halfcourt to play defense only a handful of times each game.

I thought the Jeremy Lin thing would be rock bottom for ESPN.

Not to make this a harden thread but you must have forgotten or not known that harden lead all guards in the whole league in defensive win shares just a season ago.

My point is he should have a ton of free time to spend enjoying the Houston area come Spring, since his team won't make a strong playoff push.

Because the Houston Rockets aren't a good basketball team.

Still confused? You have more problems than merely being a hapless Rockets fan.

Oh one season with a hapless coach defines the organization with the fewest losing seasons in the NBA in my lifetime. That's pretty funny guy. it ain't like they aren't about to bring in an elite coach and 2-3 difference makers to to along with the players MVP of the whole Gd league. In other words, try again.

When was the last time the Rockets made it to the NBA Finals?

Is being above 500 a benchmark for success? Perhaps it is in Houston. Considering how long Jeff Fisher (Coach Ocho) was allowed to go 500 and stick around...
