Explain how that works in magnet programs. And even then, the idea that a kid who has been on track to attend a certain HS for a decade should have to move schools his/her 8th grade year just comply with some completely fabricated idea of “attendance zone” is ludicrous. But, like I said, this won’t be a reality for long. Most states have already done away with it.

And unless something changed, the 8th grade thing doesn’t even work anymore and there are no more feeder schools

Example I am in sj Welch district for middle school and barbe district stops 100 yards from my house at contraband bayou. My kids go to a Catholic school, even if I love them to sj for 8th they have to sit at barbe first year

Please someone correct me if I am wrong, but that is how I understood the rule of no feeder schools. You are either in district or you aren’t and if you are not, you sit freshman year

Weird you defend crap schools so hard. Families don’t always have the means to execute those choices.

Hardly principals were gonna vote it down and it wasn’t going to be close

B and C vote to reunite

Division lV and Class A need to follow suit. Select should only have three divisions.

I found it interesting a rule requiring all legal action involving the LHSAA to be based in EBR parish was voted down… schools (like that one Uptown) still want their corrupt local judges to try to bend the LHSAA to their will

I would have thought those class C schools still remembered Reserve Christian

Or even some of the teams Jehovah-Jireh or New Living Word had
