will say Favre just of HOW he played the GAME... He had talent and had fun doing it..... Sure he was A gunslinger... But who cares??? He won more than he lost and took A TON of punishment but yet has the longest consecutive games played streak EVER...................

I grew up with Favre and would have to go with Rodgers. Rodgers just has an insane ability to take care of the ball and has the best arm talent in the league. Favre was a gunslinger and threw a lot of picks. Most notably, NFC championship 2009 at NOLA where if he throws the ball away they likely win with a FG and go to his 3rd Super Bowl.

Favre. You can't possibly make a stat that takes into account having an alpha male leading the huddle.

Rodgers, but it's close. Favre was a monster in the mid-90s. The only QB on Favre's level at that time was Steve Young, but Favre balled on Young almost every time they played (Catch II notwithstanding).

Rodgers is simply the most efficient QB in the game in addition to being the total package talent-wise. For all of his elite throws, he doesn't force ANYTHING. Favre forced a ton and could sometimes get away with it. Rodgers calculates, then decides, then throws as needed, all in like half a second.

Brett Lorenzo Favre is my all time favorite athlete. I am a die hard sports fan because of the way he played the game. I was 7 years old when he took his helmet off in celebration of a TD pass in the Superbowl and that is the exact moment I fell in love with sports. Hell, that is my earliest memory. I never missed another Favre game. My dad took me to Green Bay in 2007 and it's my favorite memory between us. He is the toughest most down to earth good ol boy to ever play the game.

With all that, it is no doubt Aaron Rodgers. The thrill made Favre more exciting to watch, but Rodgers is in absolute control. He's unflappable. Always gets it done. Unbelievable the packers went back to back with these guys. It's without a doubt the best qb sequence of all time. I can't remember if Montana and Young were back to back but if they were it's still Favre to Rodgers.

Go pack go.

Brett Favre 1995-1997 over any other QB in history. And this was at a time when defense and the running game were legit.

40 year old Favre had his best statistical season in this 7-on-7 era we're in now. Rodgers is great but he benefits a ton from the style of football being played.

I don't see Rodgers throwing blocks on LBers 20 yards down field like Favre, either.

Sure, Favre was reckless at times throughout his career, especially in the 2000s but Favre at his best (95-97) over Rodgers at his best.

In my totally unbiased opinion, Favre.

Favre was equally as fun to watch, but this isn' really close. Rodgers efficiency is off the charts.

Like every NFL coach in the league...

Oh and Uh...his teammates and fans... who don't want a pick 6 to lose the game.

I think only John Madden didn't care.
