Yankees traded Mike Lowell to the Marlins for Ed Yarnell, Mike Johnson, and Todd Noel....
Austin Jackson could possibly be part of this along with, Jay Buhner, Ian Kennedy, etc... but pick one

If you'd asked me this the night of the 2011 draft, I'd have said the Spurs giving up George Hill for some no name called Kawhi
As it stands, I'd say Luis Scola.

Waino is a good one considering what he has accomplished

Cubs sent Josh Donaldson over in the Rich Harden deal back in '09 I think.

Every prospect the Braves have had since the 90's.
It doesn't matter who, they are all given up.

Brandon Finnegan. Could also argue John Lamb or Cody Reed. The Royals gave up all three for Johnny Cueto last season.
ETA: I don't know all-time who it would be. Just over the last season. Royals typically don't trade away prospects.

Marlins gave up Adrian Gonzalez.

Jake Arrieta and Curt Schilling

Pete Harnisch, Steve Finley, and Curt Schilling... all in the same trade. Actually, Schilling was a throw in and wasn't considered a big time prospect.

Nats/Spo's haven't really had one. Derek Norris, but got Gio.

Stros gave up Ben Zobrist to get Aubrey Huff
They gave up Freddy Garcia and Carlos Guillen in the deal for Randy Johnson
The worst were probably leaving Santana unprotected in the Rule 5 and Abreu unprotected in the expansion draft
I forgot about Kenny Lofton too

Recently......In 2014 Dodgers traded Dee Gordon for a bunch of mediocre players. He was 2015 NL batting champion and stolen base leader in 2015.
