Bonds is the only answer. Statistically, he's a top 5 player ever.

Shoeless Joe Jackson should be in the discussion.

Mark Grace. Non PED guy. 303 lifetime. Most hits, doubles and sac flies in the 90s. Gold glove. Other than PR, only player to lead a decade in hits that's not in the HOF.

Bonds or Babe Ruth is the greatest player of all-time, so Bonds.

Definitely bonds.

But Tim "Rock" Raines is the one guy I can't figure out why he's not in yet. If it weren't for Ricky Henderson he would be the GOAT leadoff hitter. The knock on Bonds is PED use but I can't figure out what the knock against Raines is unless they are holding his struggles with cocaine against him.

This used to be a fun question, in which people could argue over Bobby Grich.

Now, it's just depressing. The best position player and pitcher of my lifetime are both out. So is the best hitting catching ever. And the second best leadoff man ever, who had the misfortune of playing at the same time as the best leadoff hitter. In order to not be depressing, let's talk about Larry Walker being awesome and totally underrated.
