Belicheck or Brady, who is more likely to NOT be a Patriot next year?

I'd say Brady, based on the contract restructuring, but boooooy would it be interesting if Belicheck left.

0.00001% to Bellichick's 0.000000001%

Belicheck.

He's older and more likely to randomly die. Neither is leaving next year either other way

What? He has $18 million in dead money for 2015 and it would result in a cap loss, not a cap saving. His cap hit is only $14 million

Forcing the Patriots to decide on three full years of guaranteed base salaries (2015-17) in Week 17 of the previous campaign (2014) meant the Patriots would only really move on from Brady if he was unable to play or if they were out of long-term contention.

quote:

Instead, Brady and his camp have made the truthfully stunning move to simply wipe the guarantees off the books. They’ll take a modest $1 million increase in base salary in each of the three remaining seasons, likely to pacify the union, because I promise you Brady isn’t taking an extra $3 million in nonguaranteed money to pass up as much as $24 million in guaranteed cash. Brady’s three base salaries will now be guaranteed solely for injury, meaning the Patriots could theoretically cut a healthy Brady as early as this offseason without owing him a dime in future base salaries.

Carroll is older than Belicheck and it'll cost 100 mil to keep Wilson around

Makes just as much sense to ask that question as the OP

Belicheck better be suspended for a year. Remember ignorance is not an excuse.

Brady, no doubt, they restructured his monies to non-guaranteed...

Belicheck, since there is nobody by that name with the Patriots now.

Blount is the correct answer. And then he will be back with the team again at some point

And they would still be on the hook for his signing bonus...

That is why I said cap hit. Also, he's only a $14 million cap hit. Jesus
