Whether the allegations were true or not doesn't matter for the point I was trying to make. Dixon mentioned that the coaches knew almost immediately about the whole thing. Which doesn't fit their narrative of playing dumb when it comes to player arrests.

I just edited my post before. I was arrested while at Baylor for a PI. If you're arrested and/or have charges filed against you it's forwarded straight to Baylor. I had to go in front of some disciplinary person like four times because of it.

Florida of all places said they didn't consider taking Ukwachwu because of the circumstances around his dismissal. So either Baylor didn't research enough or they were just playing dumb.

I'm surprised that these chicks haven't gotten together and sued the ever living shite out of Baylor

There are a couple ongoing civil suits right now. There has already been one case that was settled out of court. She got paid (Of course she isn't allowed to say anything as part of the settlement.)

I'd assume it was a mixture of this and Peterson not fully disclosing. I don't think there was necessarily an innocent party in that situation.

who would Baylor turn to if Briles goes down?

whoever it is would have to be ok with walking into a PR cleanup nightmare.

Well, Chip & Joanna Gaines just became the face of Baylor University.

It's the only way to fix the Baylor program.

Montgomery at Tulsa would be a prime candidate under normal circumstances, but he was there under Briles so they may not want to consider him

Nobody connected to Briles will be considered if they fire him.

If I am hiring at Baylor, if they do fire Briles, I go after Keeler at Sam St.

Call me crazy, but they may call Chad Morris up at SMU. Like Briles, he also coached at Stephenville and Morris took a lot after what Briles built at Stephenville.

Like Art, he also knows Stidham, personally.

Bruce Feldman also mentioned it today on ESPN.

Feldman is back with ESPN?

Morris is not leaving SMU for Baylor, especially if there is turmoil. He will leave for aTm or Texas though.

O, ok. That would make sense, because that divorce was a little messy

I think I can see him leaving if Baylor reaches out to him within the next 12 months. I think the only coach that is actually waiting for either a&m or Texas is Herman

I do not, and that is not me being a homer.

I also do not think Baylor wants him right now, as he has not proven anything. Keeler has and I am sure there will be others that would want the job.

If you are going to rebuild the image of Baylor with a Baylor guy then get Singletary, he wants back in coaching )If I recall he interviewed for a Giants LB position), he is a name, has NFL ties, there is no integrity issues.
