He also returned punts and kickoffs. He had another 516 yards on special teams.

Well, within the context of his entire career, those are legit statistics. He would've beasted against anyone that year.

If he got to the NFL and was a complete bum, then ok you can kind of scoff at the college stats. But he was the GOAT in the NFL too.
