The lion's share of the payment Updyke is ordered to make will go toward paying for replacing affected soil, removing the trees and offsetting lost revenue from seedlings sales. Those items carry a combined price tag of $632,530, the Opelika-Auburn News reported.
The remaining $164,201.98 will pay back the costs of Auburn's attempts to save the trees and soil, the design and construction of the wire structure that will replace the trees and repay the money paid for labor through the AU Facilities department.

If this dude was smart, he would charge for autographs, then he would be rich.
When I was at the 2012 Mulligan Bowl, there was a line two blocks long of Bama fans and their kids to take pictures with him and sign autographs.
