Liked the Jason Kidd comparison..he will be a distributor and occasional big scorer in the NBA..like Fox much more as a scoring point guard

Absolutely not. Lonzo Ball is a much better shooter, scorer, and passer than MCW. Lonzo Ball only becomes MCW if he breaks both hands.

Jason Kidd was a blur with the ball. Ball lacks that gear. He creates his own space well but he isn't Kidd

Ball has an extra gear when he's getting into the lane. This game wasn't really the best indication of his skillset.

He'll be really good.

That said, I think he might have hammed his foot injury up a bit as the score got worse. He looked like he could barely move at times and then it looked totally fine at times. I could be totally wrong about that, but whatever it's the MSB.

He's going to walk in on day 1 and be ready to run the offense for whichever team picks him. Great vision, great passer, good shooter (even if it's ugly). I don't like to make wild predictions and hot takes but I can't see any scenario where Ball is a bust. His only downside is that his dad may murder him and wear his skin to his first game.

You "didn't realize he had an ankle?" He was hobbling around like a fricking senior citizen

Never been overly impressed with ball honestly his game doesn't translate well to the NBA

I really do wonder if anyone who posts in this kind of thread actually has watched the NBA in 15 years.

Ball's game translates ideally for the NBA-- a low volume efficiency scorer with the height and vision to get others good looks, as well as a consistent enough shot to not harm offensive spacing?

You couldn't design a more ideal guy for the NBA, offensively. Defensively, he's not Gary Payton reincarnated-- but who is?

Fox, on the other hand, is going to have more growing pains in the NBA, and the John Wall comparison is apt-- except I think Fox has a more reliable shot than Wall did when Wall entered the league. He's going to have to learn how to play against bigger physical guards a bit, as well.

Both will be excellent pros, but Ball is undoubtedly more NBA-tailor made than Fox.

His dad fricking sucks but it doesn't make him not a good prospect.

He's just different, he's one of the few true PGs.
