It's obviously early, but I don't love this. I know he got hurt and missed a couple of weeks. But I think he's right about the age where he doesn't need to play year round. I think it may be hurting more than helping at this point. I might be wrong--he may hit 5 this week. Or it may not having anything to do with anything. I just think it's hard to work on things--to add to his game--when he's playing 225 games a year and not letting his body get any real rest.

I don't care about the homers, I do care that he is late on fastballs. Even the majority of his hits have been pure strength with him fighting one off to the OF.
I think he only has two barrels for hits this year.
