I don't know, but I'd put my money on Brady to get more credit at sunrise.

This dumb question is repeatedly brought up.

All great coaches know the answer...it's about the players.

Players make the plays - players win the games - players play.

Even John Wooden said - it's about the players - "I'm not out there executing."

Coaches can only put players in good positions to succeed. They can't succeed themselves for the team.

obviously completely IMO.. Belichick is the nucleus of the relationship. He made Tom Brady. He molded him. People love to tell the story of Brady being an undervalued talent, but that is not the case. He was an average talent that was molded into an exceptional player by the greatest football coach of all time. If you take Brady away now, and put him on another team, he will still be excellent. But if you draft him to a different team, without CBB, he is nobody. Definitely not in the league anymore.

Agree with all of this.

And didnt the pats win 11 games without Brady?

They did. And Cassel hasn't done shite since leaving Belichik, but they also went 5-11 in Belichik's 1st season that didn't have Brady. Then again that could possibly be credited to the Pats' situation at the time more so than Belichick's coaching ability.

If Manning is the QB for the Pats, they would have been even more dominant than they have been.

If Brady was QB of the Colts for the last 15 years, they win way less than they did with Manning.

Bellichick is the correct answer of who should get more credit.

Well...he makes fair point that serves as his basis for picking Belichick

This is not even close. Brady by a mile. I cant believe smart people still think Belichick is all that. Some of u need to get your heads out of the sand.
Brady cant even get a first round offensive player and he still operates one of the best offenses each year. Bill drafts defense almost every year with the first pick and cant field a top 12 defense. SMH

Lets see how Brady has won all these games:

1. At first he was mostly a game mgr, run the ball, play great defense.
2. Then he finally got a WR and he set Nfl records
3 Then Billy, who doesnt want to pay WR's forced the 2 TE set on Brady. Which of course Brady continued to have a very productive offense with.
4 Now Brady doesnt have anyone on offense and they still make it to the AFC championshiop game.
Who can do this?

Almost every game is outdoors and he plays in Foxboro.

Really, some of u actually think Bill Belichick, a defensive guy, made Tom Brady.

Boys its completely the other way around.

The yr Brady missed and they went 11-5 that team was loaded and went 18-0 the year previous.

BTW, thats the only time the Patriots didnt make the playoffs.
Peyton Manning is great no question. But a first rounder is handed to him almost every year, unlike Brady's "great" GM and coach.

what did Chuck Noll have to do with the Patriots*? Or you could say Vince Lombardi or Tom Landry or Bill Walsh.

None of those coaches did what they did in the Salary Cap era.

That puts Belichick at the top.

Still cant believe how underrated Don Shula is in these arguments though.

Landry built an expansion franchise from scratch. Walsh revived a franchise that had been a bottom feeder for years. Noll turned a 40-year doormat into one of the NFL's elite teams.

And none of them relied on high-tech spying (without which Bellycheat has never won a championship).

Its a lot easier to build a dynasty when the players have no leverage in contracts and no ability to leave for another team.

And on the spying bullshite.

Its not difficult to manage the cap when u have Tom Brady.
Must be nice to draft defense and still take all the credit for the offense.

He was the highest paid player in football and got hurt. They won 11 games

They are both legendary and both rely on each other. Brady wouldn't have won the first few super bowls without that defense. Bill wouldn't have the consistency without Brady
