If you have a good running team, it's a bad idea. For Arkansas State, it's the perfect call. They needed to get out of this game as it was dragging on and getting tense.

I just look at it as they are playing an option team so odds are they can afford to take a shot to start the possession.

This game was a weak advert for Sun Belt football.
I think Troy is the class of the conference, with App State being a VERY game underdog.
