I'm expecting another night like last night: scary as frick. 15-20 minutes of sheer excitement watching Bryant and Rizzo go back to back, then 15-20 minutes or terror watching the Cards knock out one or two as well.

It was exciting, I'll give it that. A great ballgame. The only problem is the fricking emotional investment we have as Cubs fans.

From what I've heard, it was a hamstring. Game 4 status TBD.

Yea...I look forward to a few years from now where post season play is an expectation and we're cocky and condescending. You know...like the team we play today.

I said in the thread last night that the Cardinals, no matter how much I hate them, I have to respect how they just keep churning out players. Who the hell is Tommy Pham? Where did they get a black guy with an Asian last name?

Stephen Piscotty, Tommy Pham, Randall Grichuk...all really good players.

No other options. Hammel just worries me. Maybe he'll have a good outing.

Yep...Grichuk scares me every time he's up. Seems he's always going deep on us.

Unfortunately, we can't have civil conversations with the Cards fans on here.

This isn't an excuse or anything, but it's nothing short of a miracle that this team still ended up with the best record with all of the injuries they've endured. Just their luck that the top 3 teams in baseball were all in the same division, one being their bitter rival.

Maybe they'll create some more magic, but maintaining a championship run with this hodge podge lineup is a tall order.

Grichuk creams every pitch he sees it feels like. If he doesn't have that problem with his arm he's starting everyday. That guy will be pretty good.

Nope. Avoided it. Most card fans here bug me to no end.

I didn't come here until the final out. I'll be doing the same again.

I think I'm starting to have an allergic reaction to all game threads. Games are more fun without them, I feel.

I kept updating it and read a few things, but as Cardinals fans you guys need to murder mizzoukills. That is one Heisman trophy winning first round draft pick mega douchepistol. I don't interact with him because I don't want to feed him, but he's just so bad.

Wishinitwas and red are really the only decent ones off the top of my head (I know there are others but I'm drawing a blank). Mizzou and Ultimate are pretty indefensible. Completely absent when we lose and loud anal fissures when we win.

*a question worthy of a stoning 4 short months ago.

So jealous of your lineup. You have power hitters who actually hit for power. Matt Holliday will eternally annoy me for that.
