it's awful quiet about the finals and it's close.

better yet, are lebron haters sort of scared? lebron winning this title basically cements his status as one of the top 5 players of all time

yes, a little.

but I am not a Lebron hater. I am just a golden state fan. it seems they were out in full force for the last month- guess it is the calm before the storm. I am guardedly optimistic about this series, but it is Lebron.

I think Lebron goes down in top 5 no matter what happens in this series

ehh, he's borderline at that point, but not only are the differences so small that several players can make cases for it, the lines get fuzzy when defining the greatness.

Does he pass Shaq, Kobe,Bird,Russell,Wilt or Duncan? IMO, no.

Is he ahead of Dream,Big O,Malone(s),The Logo,or Dr.J? Probably.

Is he ahead of Magic,MJ or Kareem? No way.

The second half is what really determines this. How much longer will he play? does he get to season 22?20?18? Dude has other interests, and owning The Cavs could happen sooner than later.

yeah, the Warriors, like the Spurs before them, have a lot of fans right now. To their credit, they play some beautiful basketball.

Jordan > Lebron
How can anyone that watched both argue?

This back and forth is stupid.

LeCry is afraid.

If they get behind I fully expect him to mail it in, like last time he was in Cleveland.

What's in there? Nothing. No heart.

I don't think many will argue against him being top 5. It's the GOAT status many people doubt.

No worries....

LeBron is the best player on the planet...I like the way CLEVE matches up vs GS, the only matchup that has me in question is Draymond Green vs Tristan Thompson..... If Green turns it up then GS will have success in this series, if not..well yeah Cavs in 5, or 6...

Curry - Shumpert
Thompson - LeBron
Barnes - Kyrie
Green - Thompson
Bogut - Mozgov

When Delly is in the game LeBron can slide to Green ad Shumpert can take Thompson, Delly on Curry...

Green/Thompson Matchup will be the biggest deciding factor..with LeBron on Green, Green is going to be out of the picture..Just look at Millsap in the ATL series when LeBron had to cover him and Millsap was on him..

This is not a legacy series with Love out and Kyrie hobbled, going against a team that hast lost three home games all year.

You have to be some special kind of stupid the think of a scenario where GS get's beat in 5 or 6 games.

Well, certainly it keeps him out of any GOAT conversation if Cleveland were to lose. However, I do not think it affects his place in history.

It's indisputable the level of impact LeBron James has had these playoffs without Kevin Love and a mostly-hobbled Kyrie Irving.

if the cavs win the title it will be the biggest NBA upset since the pistons over the lakers

the warriors are not only a historic team this year, but they also match up really well with LBJ. green is that athletic big who can body him up and give him fits (think diaw) and bogut is possibly the best rim protector in the NBA. that's a great matchup for GS

the cavs also just have issues. irving is not 100%. love is hurt. they have to rely on guys like JR Smith and delladova

it's a major uphill climb for the cavs
